My name is David Hand, and it is an honor and privilege to be given the opportunity to serve the WHCS community. I believe wholeheartedly in Christian education, and have personally experienced its life-changing impact as an alumnus of WHCS. It was through WHCS that I developed a relationship with Jesus, and it was through a Christian university that God significantly grew and shaped my faith.
I graduated from Southeastern University magna cum laude with a B. A. in Missional Ministries and a minor in Secondary Education, followed by a Master’s in Education in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Before coming to WHCS, I spent two years as an assistant to the Director of the Honors Program at Southeastern University, and also two years as the Youth Pastor at Faith Temple Assembly of God in Plant City, FL.
My wife, Kayla, and I live in Spring Hill with our beautiful daughter, Jade (hopefully the first of many)!
I believe with all my heart that WHCS is a God-ordained ministry that has been placed in this community to provide students with life-changing discipleship and world-class education. I am excited to be a part of that mission.
